Only a 15 minutes drive away you will find one of the most beautiful and latest golf-courses of South Tyrol, the Brandis Golf Course in Lana, a fantastic 9-hole course in the middle of fruit and wine plantations. The visit of the famous 'Ötzi' exhibited in his museum in the heart of Bolzano can very well be combined with a stroll under the 'Lauben' of the city.

For those who like to get up easy to higher altitudes the funicular just around the corner is taking them up to Mölten from where you overlook the Valley Etsch.

There are hiking possibilities in abundance in this area. Trails leading through the valley or up the mountain sides are inviting to both hikers and bikers.

Merano, the world-famous city of spas with tradition is a short half hour away and is waiting to be explored, strolled through or simply enjoyed for a few hours or longer.

A must in the Merano area are the blooming gardens of Trauttmansdorf Castle which stretches across a sunny slope above the city. A place where the Empress Elizabeth once liked to promenade.

Ancient plants like olives, lemons, grape-vine, cypresses and lavender grow together in the gardens. Footpaths wind up the slope and vistas open up to the surrounding mountains, while a desert breeze wafts across from the nearby hill of cacti and succulents.
