A vacation by the lake in South Tyrol
Between mountains and bathing lakes
While not located directly at a lake, the Sparerhof is situated in perfect travel distance from the most beautiful lakes in South Tyrol. The perfect ingredients for a lake vacation are lots of sunshine, cool water and a picturesque landscape. And fortunately there is plenty of that here in South Tyrol.
Situated right between Bozen and Meran, it’s just a 22-minute drive to the Montiggl lakes and 25 minutes to Lake Kaltern, both of which are popular destinations from spring to late fall. The latter is South Tyrol's largest swimming lake and the warmest swimming lake in the whole Alpine region. In winter, the lakes freeze over and are then, provided the ice is thick enough, converted into ice skating rinks. In South Tyrol, vacationing by a lake offers something for everyone, but especially water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers.
